“This is the way and time to see the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. We took our time in the museum, but we skipped the Rafael rooms because we were a little overwhelmed. Our guide David got us into the Sistine Chapel and it was maybe 1/4 full. He said he had never seen it so open. The museum itself is a showcase of Roman art, mainly statuary. Having a private guide lets you spend more time where you are interested and less where you aren’t. This was a great informative tour.”
