We spent 1 hour with our guide and then he left us at the exit to keep exploring if we so wished. “Our guide knew a lot of the staff at the collesseum and how to get in quickly, managed time extremely well and was passionate about the history and gave ample opportunities to ask questions. It is a low tourist season so we were fortunate to have only four people on our tour. I do highly recommend you go with a six person max tour as it makes the logistics and information much easier to access.
